:::Session Preparation:::

In order for things to go as smoothly as possible and ensure everything is where is should be please follow these instructions before transferring the session to me.

Start by removing any effects and plug-ins from your tracks. This includes all compression, eq, reverb etc. If there is a special effect you are positive you would like to be in the track, you may keep it.

:::Consolidate and export tracks:::

This is the process of combining any track regions into one complete file and ensures that all tracks will line up in future sessions.

You may need to Google how to do this in your specific DAW.

Please ensure that all files are created from the very beginning of the session (even if there is silence).

Clearly label each audio file in the file name based on the track information. Example: Bass, Electric 1, Background Vocals etc.

The final format should be 24-bit .wav or .aiff and may stay in the recorded sample rate.

Create a folder and include only the newly created audio files inside. Name the folder as the song name and Zip the folder.

:::Upload and Send:::

Upload the .zip file containing the session below.

Alternatively you may upload the files through Gobbler. This application is allow free sending of up to 50GB and is specifically built for backing up and sending audio files.

Some other free file sharing servers are available. Please note their file size limits before attempting to send.
